Guerilla Das Fremdwort die Guerilla (Aussprache (ge'rlja; aus span. guerrilla, über frz. guérilla) bedeutet "Guerillakrieg" (Partisanenkrieg), bezeichnet aber auch die Einheit oder Kampftruppe, die den Guerillakrieg führt. Dagegen ist der Guerilla (Plural meist: die Guerillas) genau wie der Guerillero der "Angehörige einer Guerilla, Partisan".
